The spirit and energy of living things has always intrigued me and continues to be at the very core of my art. Inspired by the temperament of my Asian background, I constantly strive to capture grace, movement and dimension of life in a simple, yet powerful way. Facets of nature are the soul of my art. Lyrical abstractions of nature and the Orient come to life through the use of line, color, texture, balance and the silent beauty of glass and metal. 

My commissioned art allows me to integrate color, shape, movement and luminescence of my art within a distinct architectural setting. Gracefully shaped lines of lead embrace and set free design elements reminiscent of nature’s energy, spirit of life and a vestige of Chinese calligraphy. Interpreted in today’s time, the beauty of nature and the Orient bring me closer to my ancestral heritage. I choose to emulate and celebrate the lighter side of life.  

Through the synthesis of a unique vocabulary in glass is a combination of the utilization, adoption and interpretation of centuries old artistic style and fabrication processes making it possible for me to articulate my glass designs in a bold new contemporary expression for both fine art and architectural installations. Bringing life to glass with timeless significance is my life passion.
